| The Sprung Monument History Three Generations of Sensitive Service |

| Adam Sprung, our President, had a very determined grandmother named Bella. In 1926, she convinced her husband Isidore to give up his business and help her establish a monument company. Bella had the special kind of personality that made everyone feel at ease, and she knew that starting a business that helped people in their time of need was the right profession for her. While helping people memorialize their loved ones, she cared for her infant son, Hy, who is now our Chairman of the Board. After Hy returned from military service in World War II he took the unconventional step of opening a showroom on Queens Boulevard. Placing a memorial company in a populated, growing area instead of near a cemetery was a big risk, but Hy believed families should not have to travel far to choose a memorial. He wanted families to have a place right in the neighborhood that was dedicated to only one thing -- creating memorials of the highest quality and craftsmanship. Over the years, Hy committed himself to providing personal service to a large number of families in New York and New Jersey. He created the Craftsmen Center, which was later expanded by his son, Adam, into a comfortable selection center. Adam assumed leadership of the family business and brought other memorial companies into the Sprung organization so more families could benefit from the convenience and comfort of having this service close to them when they needed it. Alongside Adam are his two brothers, Steven and Gary, who play a major role in the Sprung Monument Corporation. Steven Sprung heads up the mausoleum division, while Gary Sprung is active at the Queens Boulevard location. Like their father and grandparents before them, Adam and his brothers believe that the lives of our loved ones should be expressed by the monuments we create for them. Adam and the Sprung Monument Corporation staff dedicate themselves to the business, and to the creative task of producing memorials that symbolize the life of the individual and the love of the family.
